Privacy policy
ResetHour is a static site that collects as little as possible. This explains what is and isn't gathered when you visit.
What we collect
ResetHour is served as static pages. We do not run accounts, and we do not ask for personal information to read the site. Our host may keep standard, aggregated server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to understand traffic. For analytics we use Google Analytics 4; the next section explains what it records and how to say no.
Google Analytics
ResetHour runs Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd., so we can tell which shop pages and guides people use. GA4 collects the pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location (city or country level), device and browser type, and session timing. It does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation stay off, so the data isn't used for advertising and isn't sold.
GA4's cookies are first-party: _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to 2 years. They're set only after analytics is allowed.
If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a banner asks you first and nothing is sent to Google unless you click Accept. Everywhere else, analytics is on by default and you can switch it off at any time. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out. Your choice is saved in local storage under the key analytics-consent — not in a cookie.
To change it, hit Cookie settings and the banner reopens. Google's privacy policy covers what Google does with the data, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on is there if you want it.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some outbound links are affiliate links, routed through our /go/ paths. When you click one, the destination retailer (such as a V-Bucks card seller) may set its own cookies to attribute the visit — that happens on their site under their policy, not ours. Details are in our affiliate disclosure. If you subscribe to our email updates, we use your address only to send those updates and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Third-party data and your choices
Cosmetic images are localized to our own domain at build time, so simply viewing a page does not call Epic or a third-party image host. We do not sell personal information. You can browse with cookies disabled; the site works fine without them. Questions about your data can go to [email protected].
